Compliance Officer will ensure the continued implementation and enforcement of our regulatory compliance guidelines. As part of this crucial role, you will be entrusted with the task of ensuring our team members and leaders act in accordance with the laws, regulations, and internal policies that define our company’s modus operandi, inclusively adhering to Ericsson’s Code of Business Ethics. Your insights and advice will bolster all integral aspects of Ericsson’s Ethics and Compliance Program within your area of jurisdiction.

THE SKILLS YOU BRING:

  • University degree suitable for compliance (Legal, Financial or similar)
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Solid experience in compliance, legal or other relevant field (finance, audit), with specific experience with anti-bribery and corruption compliance.
  • Strong judgment and problem-solving skills; a positive, solutions-oriented approach.
  • Ability to handle high-stakes and fast-moving situations; ability to handle multiple matters at once.
  • International experience and cultural awareness desired.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%.
  • Ideally to have a compliance certification, like CCEP-I.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead in developing a culture of compliance, setting an example for transparency and promoting an environment were speaking up about compliance concerns is encouraged.
  • Oversee and advise a select group of legal entities within one or more Customer Units, or other function units that may span multiple countries and manage not only internal stakeholders but also external stakeholders, such as customers and other third parties, in relation to compliance demands.
  • Provide regular updates to management teams and to the compliance organization needed regarding implementation of the compliance program, including relevant KPIs.
  • Perform compliance risk assessments with support from the Compliance Office and alongside colleagues from the business and conduct reviews and monitoring.
  • Supplement group trainings to ensure local requirements are addressed; conduct compliance trainings and ensure appropriate monitoring of compliance training and awareness programs.
  • Ensure effective implementation of Third-Party Management process and train functions involved in the process; assess and decide on third-party engagements in line with the global TPM process.
  • Assist with assessment and management of actual or potential conflicts of interest, gifts, entertainment and hospitality and contributions/donations.
  • Gather and analyze compliance data to identify patterns and trends and share insights from that data with Compliance Office colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ensure the effective implementation of the policies and directives relating to reporting of violations and concerns. Utilize the case management system and support investigations and remediation.
  • Assist in reporting to relevant stakeholders where applicable about compliance-related reports of misconduct, investigations, and remediation efforts.
  • Work with the investigations team and other stakeholders to ensure that interactions with local authorities and regulators are coordinated and implement processes to identify and manage regulatory requests and deadlines.
  • Draft clear, concise, and accurate compliance-related reports, presentations and summaries as required.
