YOU AND YOUR JOB

Within Rabobank we are seeking a talented and motivated (Junior) Market Data Analyst to join our dynamic Market Data Distribution Services Squad. This team is crucial to the bank’s operations, responsible for distributing market data, covering a wide range of financial products and financial reference data, across the entire organization. We ensure that data is validated, adheres to the highest quality standards, and is accessible for essential processes such as market risk calculations, balance sheet management and derivatives valuation. The role also involves managing historical data and maintaining strong data governance practices.
You’ll work in an innovative, cross-functional and international squad that brings together both IT and business experts. We’re also in the midst of an exciting transformation project to replace our current data warehouse with a state-of-the-art enterprise market data management system. As part of this initiative, you’ll have the opportunity to actively contribute to the migration and implementation, offering significant opportunities for growth and hands-on experience in large-scale system transformations.

• Collecting, validating and delivering accurate and timely market data throughout the bank.
• Maintain and manage historical market data used for market risk calculations.
• Ensure compliance with data governance policies and continuously improve data quality across systems.
• Create automatic data feeds in a centralized and standardized manner, improving data flow efficiency.
• Translate customer requests for new data feeds into workable product backlog items, ensuring clear communication with the development team.
• Assist in the migration and implementation of our new enterprise market data management system.
• Analyzing and identifying key limitations and implementing structural improvements with the help of our highly experienced in-house developers to optimize data processes and workflows, ensuring seamless integration of market data across Rabobank’s various banking systems.
