THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEED
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a strong track record of leading and growing sales of products via solution selling methods in the targeted sectors.
- Has a significant business development background, with experience of similar role previously.
- Has a strong record of strategic prospecting skills and generation of specification sales.
- Has experience of managing/achieving sales budgets whilst in a national coverage role
- Has knowledge and experience of dealing with UK routes to market for security products would be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
As our Market Development Manager you will penetrate facets of the water sector as recognised within Critical National Infrastructure (CNI), with targeted range of new and existing products and solutions from within the Group. In this pivotal role you will be responsible for the growth of sales revenues into the targeted sectors through the promotion of the Abloy, and ASSA ABLOY as appropriate portfolio of products.
You would also:
- Responsible for growing specific new markets within the water sector, focusing on infrastructure and major players.
- Introduce electromechanical/electric locking devices and patented key systems into target markets.
- Increase specifications with influencers and end-users for Abloy products, driving business at the front end.
- Collaborate with end users, regional sales teams, and product managers to identify, negotiate, and close new business.
- Continuously identify end-user needs, explore new markets, and forecast trends while maintaining ethical business practices.
