We are now looking for a Market Manager at Hitachi Energy, Grid Integration business in Vaasa. You will take part of an exciting journey with interesting challenges and opportunities along the way. Right now, there is a big transition in the energy landscape where technology and climate change are big drivers. At the same time Hitachi Energy is transforming with the market and driving new business model. Our clients are based in Finland but also abroad, giving diverse tasks but also a need to be able to understand how we deliver value to a wide range of clients and segments.
There is more than one way to approach this role. You can be a strong professional with several years of relevant experience or a more junior candidate with willingness and courage to test your limits in learning new things and taking on the challenges that are part of our daily work. Depending on your background, we will provide training and support to help you grow into this role. The person currently having this role will take over new challenges inside Hitachi Energy, so the “mentor” is nearby to support the new employee.

Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for building and maintaining consistent and long-lasting relationships throughout the business and with our customers.
- Implement the Global strategy in the country and ensure business development and sales growth in the domestic market. Provide input to Global Business Unit strategies.
- Accountability for populating and maintaining the Finnish sales project pipeline.
- Ensure profitable growth in the country by maximizing geographic coverage, channel penetration, as well as key growth segments (Utilities, Industry, Datacenters, Transport and Renewables).
- Customer engagement. Implement customer-focused collaboration, raise awareness and ensure appropriate action towards market opportunities in conjunction with the Global, Regional Marketing & Sales function and the Group Account Management organization.
- Prepare and regularly update strategic growth plans and monthly sales reviews with forecasting.
- Drive marketing and sales in the domestic market. Drive sales efficiency and effectiveness locally. Ensure balanced growth across solutions and segments. Create demand through technical promotion, providing solutions and a value based selling approach.
