Market Patrol Officer
Mitie has a great opportunity for an experienced licenced Security officer, who also has a CCTV licence, to work at New Smithfield Market. You will be contracted to 42 hours a week with a pay rate of £12.00 per hour. You will report to the sites Security Operations Manager and Supervisor. The shift pattern is 4 on, 4 off, working night shifts.
You will periodically complete a CCTV patrol of the site to check for prohibited behaviour, while the rest of the time you will be supporting the Supervisor on site with completing patrols, searching vehicles and actioning Market Management requests.

• Operate all CCTV equipment in accordance with Mitie and MCC codes of practice, all Legal requirements in relation to GDPR, RIPA and current Government and Security Industry legislation.
• Support the Supervisor with the completion of duties on site, including requests from the clients management team for support.
• Use radios, and telephones to provide pro-active and reactive monitoring of CCTV cameras to assist with the detection of crime, antisocial behaviour and to support the reduction of crime, disorder, and the fear of crime.
• Report to the Security Shift Manager – record, report and escalate all sightings and arrests on a regular basis.
