S&P Global Commodity Insights
The Role: Market research analyst
The Team: S&P Global Commodity Insights Costs and Supply Chain helps energy companies to effectively monitor, forecast, and manage major capital costs and subsequently operating cost investments for onshore and offshore development projects.
The Impact: We also provide actionable market intelligence to support energy companies and service companies’ supply chain, procurement, strategic planning, and market intelligence, and category management teams in making better supply chain and business decisions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Understanding and monitoring of the offshore energy (oil and gas, and renewables) EPC market segments within the Engineering and Fabrication capability group including, but not limited to those stated below:
Tracking, analyzing, and forecasting demand trends, such as project developments, buyer’s preference, etc.
Tracking, analyzing, and forecasting supply trends, such as contractors’ capability, capacity, competitiveness, etc.
Tracking, analyzing, and forecasting cost/price and contracting trends, such as contracting mode, prices, etc.
Identifying and articulating supply chain optimization and sourcing opportunities.
Writing market and company reports. Market research and database maintenance. Client and market engagements, and presentations.
