What We Need
Corpay is currently looking to hire a Marketing Analyst. This position falls under our North American Fuel line of business. You will be responsible for connecting disparate sources of data throughout the organization. Identifying primary keys and joining data, ingesting, and harmonizing for campaign targeting and reporting and gathering, analyzing and interpreting market and internal transactional data, formulating reports, visualizations, and presentations highlighting relevant insights to produce actionable conclusions for various departments and regions in the company. The Senior Marketing Data Analyst will conceive and execute projects based on business questions or problems and will effectively collaborate with various departments to deliver analysis-backed research and resulting data projects that leverage consumer insights that drive business results.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify inconsistencies and trends in large data sets.
  • Comfortable with SQL, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architecture, Alteryx, and Tableau
  • Experience working with large relational database management systems (RDBMS) including table design (i.e. primary key, indexes) and query design (i.e. inner join, outer join).
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 2+ years of professional experience in data analytics is considered in lieu of an educational requirement.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical and non-technical information using various audible and visual tools. Clear and deliberate communication is key to success in this position.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate and participate in multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrates data-oriented characteristics.
  • Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and distribute data as information with attention to detail and accuracy. Data validation skills are a key requirement of this position.
  • Proficient in data analysis and applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, and regression.
  • Ability to quickly comprehend new processes/projects, work independently, and self-initiate
  • projects/tasks. Proven self-prioritization/self-management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, OneNote, PowerPoint & Word)
  • Advanced knowledge of using MS Excel (Formulas, Pivot Tables, and Chart

Responsibilities:

  • Building queries and metrics to create reports, dashboards, and scorecards for consumption by various departments.
  • Researching and implementing new data sources, analysis, and visualization tools and extending internal transactional data with third-party sources of information as needed.
  • Exploring data needs, conducting analysis, and sharing proposals/results through a combination of reports and presentations backed by data and coupled with actionable conclusions.
  • Supporting Marketing and Sales departments in the joint development of business plans and programs.
  • Routinely reporting project requirements, ongoing statuses of projects, and documented results.
  • Maintaining and improving the understanding of market size, share, and segmentation in end markets.
  • Planing and scheduling workload to meet assigned target dates; managing multiple projects at the same time.
  • Facilitating consistent, organization-wide sharing of knowledge (through written reports, charts and graphs, speaking, and formal presentations) on the competition, market trends, and various findings.
