About the Role:
Our incredible Fundraising team is hiring! We a full time, fixed term, 12 month maternity leave contract for a Marketing and Communications Manager to join our Supporter Experience Acquisition and Growth team. This position will be based in Blackburn, Melbourne with hybrid working arrangements.
You will play a pivotal role in driving our fundraising efforts by leading the strategy development and execution of our iconic Red Shield Appeal and Christmas Appeals. In addition, you will lead a new strategic focus on innovative supporter lifecycle programs. Your expertise in lifecycle marketing will be crucial in driving engagement and loyalty, ensuring our supporters’ journey from initial contact to long-term engagement is seamless and impactful.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the Direct Marketing campaign strategy
  • Lead the strategy, development and implementation of lifecycle marketing programs
  • Lead and develop the omni-channel strategies and customer journey mapping to deliver best in class marketing campaigns
  • Lead cross functional teams end-to-end on design, delivery and management of campaigns and marketing communications
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify, extract and use supporter insights data to provide most applicable target customers for programs
  • Lead and empower a team of 5 to support the implementation and execution of campaigns and programs

About you:

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Management or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years marketing, communications, fundraising experience
  • Experience project managing large-scale, multi-channel campaigns in a fast paced environment
  • Significant experience in managing local and remote high-performance teams
