Description:

Jotna Group is a leading beverage manufacturing and related packaging company which comprises of 3 operating companies, The La Casera Company Plc. (A Leading Beverage Manufacturing Company in Nigeria), Prima Corporation Limited (Largest manufacturers of Preforms & Closures in West Africa), Engee PET Manufacturing Nigeria Limited (Manufacturers of food-grade PET Resins with a world-class plant, located in Igbesa, Ogun State, Nigeria).
We are recruiting to fill the position below:

SUMMARY

  • The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for liaising with agencies and coordinating the development of the strategies and policies of the Marketing Department, as per the strategy of the company to contribute to the targets for growth and profitability of the company, as well as to maintain and develop competitive brands for the future, providing them with functional and emotional content.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing / Relevant Degree and MBA / M.Sc in Marketing will be an advantage.
  • 5 years (at least 3 years, industry experience 4 years minimum).
  • Understanding of Brand Communication /Advertising.
  • Relevant Postgraduate or Professional Qualifications would be an added advantage.
  • Manufacturing / FMCG / Construction.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Marketing:

  • Implement a strategic marketing plan for the Group
  • Drive new product development and packaging development
  • Monitor brand equity across the region to ensure alignment to strategies/plans

Commercial Acumen:

  • To drive profitable brand management
  • Adaptability to change
  • Build and manage the Integrated Marketing Plan

Project Management:

  • New Product Initiation (NPI)
  • Apply Project Management Process
  • Brand Communication /Advertising
  • Ensures communication to all relevant stakeholders during projects.

Insight Generation:

  • Interpret data, identify opportunities, prioritize, and develop a clear brand vision
  • Tracks, analyses and evaluates all brand and trade initiatives to ensure business results are achieved and brand equity is maintained
  • Interpret data, identify opportunities, prioritize, and develop a clear brand vision

People Management:

  • Ensure efficiency among team members by setting clear KRAs & KPIs
  • Direct, train, and motivate team members to ensure consistency in productivity
  • Manage the Team’s Performance Management
