JOB DESCRIPTION: PART-TIME MARKETING ASSISTANT
Location: Flexible, UK-based (Remote with occasional on-site meetings if necessary)
Hours: Approx. 1 day per week or fortnight (flexible scheduling)

ABOUT US
We are a supplier of construction safety equipment, including barriers, fencing, and ground protection solutions for construction sites across the UK. We’re looking for a proactive and flexible Part-Time Marketing Assistant to support our team. This is a versatile role with plenty of variety, perfect for someone who enjoys working across different marketing tasks and making a tangible impact.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

- Has Strong Marketing Fundamentals:
- Familiarity with social media platforms and basic marketing tools.
- A good eye for design and attention to detail in both visuals and text.
- Can Work Independently:
- Able to manage their own time effectively and work without constant supervision.
- Can account for the hours worked and deliver results efficiently.
- Possesses Basic Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of photo editing software (e.g., Photoshop, Canva, or similar).
- Familiarity with social media scheduling tools and basic content management systems is a plus.
Responsibilities:
As our Marketing Assistant, you’ll contribute across various areas of marketing. Tasks may include, but are not limited to:
- Social Media Management:
- Create, schedule, and manage engaging posts across social media platforms.
- Respond to messages or comments, maintaining a professional tone.
- Content Creation & Copywriting:
- Write clear and engaging copy for product descriptions, brochures, and social media.
- Assist with website updates and basic blog content if required.
- Graphic Design & Photo Editing:
- Curate and edit photos of our products for use in marketing materials and social media.
- Help design product brochures, flyers, or simple graphics using design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop).
- Marketing Coordination:
- Collaborate with the team to align marketing efforts with business goals.
- Organise and manage digital assets, ensuring all materials are up-to-date and consistent.
- Accountability:
- Track and report on completed work to demonstrate progress and results.
- Stay organised and ensure all tasks are completed within the agreed-upon schedule.
