KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Proven experience as a marketing assistant or similar role.
  • Good understanding of marketing principles and office management.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Experience of working with Microsoft CRM Dynamics, social media platforms, content management systems and other online marketing platforms.
  • Familiarity with SEO/SEM and Google Analytics.
  • Excellent spoken and written English; additional languages appreciated, but not a requirement.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Positive, enthusiastic attitude with an ability to work at pace with accuracy and manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships internally and externally.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
    Education: BSc in Marketing, Business, or a relevant field is a strong advantage

Responsibilities:

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The Marketing Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the marketing team with both primary and administrative tasks. This position involves collaborating across the team to help achieve key business objectives. The ideal candidate is a dedicated professional capable of handling a variety of tasks and performing well under pressure. This junior role offers comprehensive exposure to the entire marketing discipline, providing valuable experience. The position is based in London and reports directly to the Head of Marketing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administrative support: Perform daily administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation and coordination of the marketing team’s activities. This includes managing and responding to general email inquiries, organizing internal and external meetings, taking minutes and meeting notes, and providing diary management support for the senior team.
  • Campaign assistance: Support marketing executives with the organization of projects and campaigns, working across a broad spectrum of activities.
  • Content creation: Help create and distribute marketing materials, including email marketing campaigns and social media content.
  • Events: Offer logistical support in organizing and managing both Pantheon-hosted and third-party external events.
  • Analytics: Utilize marketing analytics techniques to collect and analyze key data from social media, web analytics, email, and other marketing sources, to produce monthly reports for senior stakeholders.
  • Data Management: Oversee the regular updates and maintenance of the marketing CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information. Manage and organize distribution lists for targeted marketing campaigns. Track and report on the monthly budget. Monitor and track media subscriptions, ensuring timely renewals.
