Description:

Marketing Assistant
Following a period of growth, we are hiring a Marketing Assistant to join our team. You will work closely with our internal marketing lead to support our business-wide marketing, communication, promotional, and - when required - bid activities by delivering compelling copy in line with our brand, tone, position and processes.
This will involve helping to develop and maintain social media campaigns, assisting in the growth of our brand presence through effective and informative LinkedIn and website-tailored content around our services and projects, and writing internal communications for employee updates.
You will also support the company’s bid processes for high-value contracts with both new and existing clients through the development of key supporting documents such as CVs, case studies, and client presentations.

REQUIREMENTS

The right individual will:

  • Be a creative thinker with an eye for accuracy and detail
  • Have excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Have a strong and persuasive writing style
  • Be detail-oriented, accurate, and have excellent organisation skills
  • Have good formatting and document layout skills
  • Have the ability to work under pressure & assist in delivering documents of an exceptionally high standard
  • Have excellent time management skills
  • Work within a team and independently
  • Keep up to date with schedules and deadlines
  • Have a proactive ability to build close working relationships with various stakeholders
  • Be able to work well with various software packages, including Word and PowerPoint
  • Have experience in InDesign – however, training can be provided

JOB SUMMARY

As our Marketing Assistant, you will support our Marketing Team in raising the profile of the business through the implementation of effective marketing strategies. This will include:

  • Assisting with the creation of corporate brochures, company statements, and marketing information
  • Assisting in the production of case studies, project updates, and CVs to showcase the company’s experience through researching, interviewing key internal stakeholders, and drafting well-structured profiles
  • Assisting in the production of high-quality fee proposal documents to support the company’s work-winning strategies
  • Content writing for external communications – primarily news items for LinkedIn and our website aligned to our marketing campaigns aimed at retaining and increasing viewership
  • Content writing for internal communications, including intranet news stories, staff updates, and guides
  • Helping to produce client presentations, such as those required as part of the bid process
  • Proofreading a range of company documents for fluidity, correct use of English, and adherence to our brand guidelines and tone of voice
  • Assisting in the creation of graphic imagery and designs to support social media, website, and bid copy
  • Where required, providing support in the organisation of company networking events
