POSITION SUMMARY

As a Marketing Assistant at Smartoptics, you will play a crucial role in supporting our marketing initiatives and helping us plan, coordinate, and execute various events. You will be involved in both internal events for our employees and external events for our customers and partners. Additionally, you will support digital marketing activities, content creation, and lead generation efforts. Your organizational skills, creativity, and attention to detail will be essential in ensuring the success of our events and marketing activities.

EDUCATION:

  • Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience or internships in marketing preferred.
  • Certifications in digital marketing or related areas are a plus.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, HubSpot, Google Analytics, and social media platforms.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Event Planning - Ability to organize and manage events from inception to completion, ensuring all logistical aspects are covered and the event runs smoothly.
  • Project Management - Skilled in coordinating multiple tasks and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget, maintaining a clear focus on objectives and deliverables.
  • Content Creation and Coordination - Experience in developing engaging marketing content and coordinating with various teams to ensure consistency and alignment with brand messaging.
  • Social Media Management - Proficiency in managing social media platforms, creating content, and analyzing performance to enhance our online presence and engagement.
  • Email Marketing - Competence in creating, sending, and analyzing email campaigns to effectively communicate with our target audience and drive engagement.
  • Analysis and Reporting - Ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and generate reports to inform marketing strategies and track the success of marketing initiatives.
  • Basic Design Skills - Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Cloud to create visually appealing marketing materials.
  • Customer Interaction and Sales - Strong communication skills and experience in customer service or sales roles, ensuring positive interactions and effective support for our clients and partners.
