About Us
The successful Marketing Campaigns Officer will join the Marketing Campaigns Team (Brand & Marketing) in helping to bring to life the marketing strategy through engaging multi-channel marketing campaigns for the Faculty of Arts & Humanities. This role will be tasked with delivering an extensive schedule of campaign activities to meet targets for leads, applications and enrolments for the faculty which offers over 70 courses ranging in subject areas from Philosophy and Theology to Digital Humanities and Culture.
About The Role
The purpose of the Marketing Campaigns Officer role is to support the Marketing Campaigns Manager in the delivery of marketing campaigns to meet targets for leads, applications & enrolments and achieve campaign objectives to increase the volume of applications from high achieving students across King’s portfolio of courses, and influence offer holders to accept their offer and enrol.
This is achieved through activities such as:
Working with the Marketing Campaigns Manager to deliver successful marketing campaigns, utilising the whole marketing mix to increase awareness, generate and engage with leads and offer holders via conversion and completion activity;
The creation and curation of various mediums of content;
Deployment and supply of content across all channels including; social media, events, email, web, print, student ambassador management and display advertising;
The organisation, delivery and evaluation of on-campus and online events including; open days, open evenings, taster and offer holder events.
This is a full time post (35 Hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract.
About You
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:
Essential criteria
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Demonstrable marketing experience at a similar level to that required by the job description
- Strong organisational skills and experience of managing time sensitive activity
- Strong project management skills
- Strong written, verbal and inter-personal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience of digital marketing, with knowledge of a website CMS and/or HTML
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Desirable criteria
- A relevant professional marketing qualification
- Experience of working with multi-media content
- Marketing experience within the Higher Education sector
