Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Campaign Lead to join our Marketing Communications team in the Canada Region. This position could be based our of any of the following AECOM offices, with opportunities for hybrid work permitted: Mississauga, ON; Burnaby, BC; Halifax, NS.
JOB SUMMARY:
This role involves developing and implementing marketing strategies to drive success in major pursuits, advance regional business goals, and align with global and regional campaigns. As a Campaign Lead, you will be responsible for managing multiple campaigns to ensure they resonate with our target audiences and support our overall business objectives.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
In order to be considered for this position, candidates must possess no less than:
- University Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Studies, or related degree-level education plus six (6) years of marketing communications experience working within a large, preferably professional services organization across different industries and business lines and/or functions.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Ten (10) years of Marketing communications experience in a professional services environment preferred.
- Experience leading and optimizing marketing campaigns aligned to pursuit positioning in collaboration with stakeholders both inside and outside of your organization.
- Can think strategically and articulate strategy in an accessible and compelling way.
- Experience creating value propositions either for pursuit campaigns and/or taking new service offerings to market.
- Experience and confidence in working with business leaders, with the ability to challenge constructively.
- Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong communicator with energy and enthusiasm.
- Excellent verbal and written language skills including writing, editing, and proofreading.
- Influencing and stakeholder management skills: Can interact at a senior level, providing credible advice and guidance, as well as building good networks and relationships at all levels of an organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe packages including InDesign, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Client-centric attitude, embracing the company brand and values.
- Digital skills: Experience in delivering content through multi-media and digital platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Create and deliver marketing positioning strategies aligned to winning key pursuits and supporting region initiatives. This includes setting strategic direction, planning, and executing campaigns that drive results.
- Collaborate with various internal teams, including account managers, business development teams, and regional leaders, to develop and implement campaigns that align with business objectives and drive success in key pursuits.
- Responsible for handling multiple marketing campaigns simultaneously.
- Write and edit content specifically tailored for each of our unique platforms.
- Conduct interviews with subject matter experts, client account managers and technical staff to strategize and write thought leadership articles and blogs.
- Work with the Marketing Communications team to create and share compelling content across various digital, social media, and traditional media channels. Ensure content is consistent with campaign objectives and brand guidelines.
- Write and edit content as needed.
- Adapt global marketing strategies to meet local markets’ unique needs and characteristics within the Americas Region. Utilize market insights to customize campaigns, ensuring they effectively address local audience preferences and competitive landscapes.
- Work with Media Relations colleagues to identify and capitalize on media outreach opportunities, increasing campaign visibility through targeted PR efforts.
- Use data and analytics to monitor campaign performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and optimize strategies. Provide regular reports and insights to internal stakeholders.
