UNIQUE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Technical appreciation for the development process of creative design across all media

Responsibilities:

  • Develop company, product and service marketing materials to capture the attention of the audience, drive sales and differentiate Sun Life Global Investments in the competitive market place
  • Produce error-free copy that upholds and advances the Sun Life Global Investments brand, marketing goals and business objectives
  • Follow the creative development process, including brainstorming activities, researching competitive marketing programs and matching design and vehicle to the target audience
  • Develop the creative brief and collaborate effectively with project stakeholders to produce the best in class marketing
  • Coordinate contracts with external vendors and oversee the logistics and execution of events including being onsite when necessary
  • Manage inventory of booths, banner bugs, supplies and promotional items used at events
  • Manage the SLGI Swag program, including inventory, product sourcing, website maintenance and budgeting
  • Purchase coordinator for the Brand and Sponsorship team

Event Production:

  • Initiate RFPs for hotel/venues based on parameters set out by Marketing Manager; consolidate RFP results to create a short list for the Marketing Manager and Director to select from
  • Registration and attendee management including rooming lists and manifests
  • Detailed project planning timelines, critical path, development and checkpoints
  • Admin tasks including shipping
  • On-line registration system building, testing and implementation
  • Mobile application building, testing, implementation and on-site support
  • Management of presentation slide decks including testing and on-site execution

Decision-Making Authority:

  • Recommend the most appropriate creative application and use of brand attributes to marketing vehicles and tactics to achieve project objectives
  • Select vendors and determines design application across all media
  • Manage allocated budget and deliverables for individual projects
