At SBF, we believe that great food brings people together, and we’re passionate about helping our customers discover ingredients that elevate their cooking and baking. We’re looking for a creative, results-driven Marketing & Communications Coordinator to help us grow our brand, engage our community, and drive sales both in-store and online.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • A degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field (or equivalent experience—2+ years in a similar role).
  • Proven ability to create engaging social media content and manage brand accounts.
  • Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms, SEO, and website management (a plus).
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to create compelling marketing copy.
  • A knack for storytelling and the ability to bring a brand’s personality to life online.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and at least 19 years old.
  • Must be able to be at the store for shoots, meetings, etc on a regular basis.
  • Flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends for events.
  • A portfolio of creative work (social media posts, photography, videos, graphics) is required.

THE ROLE

As our Marketing & Communications Coordinator, you’ll take the lead on creating engaging content, managing social media, and executing marketing campaigns that make an impact. You’ll be responsible for increasing brand awareness, driving customer engagement, and supporting our growth through digital and community-focused marketing efforts. Reporting to the leadership team, you’ll play a key role in sharing our story, building relationships, and ensuring our marketing efforts align with our business goals.
