Description:

About the Role: We are looking for a Marketing Communications Expert (f/m/d) for our EMEA Regional Marketing Communications (Marcom) Team. In this role you will primarily work with the regional Aerospace & Defense Commercial team to conceptualize, recommend, develop, implement, and communicate integrated marketing communication plans.
This position will be located at our facility in Putzbrunn near Munich or Pleinfeld near Nuremberg, Germany, with work from home days possible as part of a hybrid arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing/Advertising, or equivalent business experience and minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in business-to-business marketing communications in EMEA, preferably with technical products and in the Aerospace & Defense industry
  • Proven skill at developing and activating integrated communications strategies, tactical projects/programs, and promotional plans
  • Ability to conceptually visualize, communicate and articulate concepts to internal clients as well as vendors/suppliers
  • Successful situational leadership, preferably across multiple sites. As well as the ability to effectively brief and leverage agency vendors or contractors
  • Experience with all marketing communications functions including e-marketing, advertising, public relations, online and off-line direct response, collateral, video production, trade shows and events
  • Working knowledge of graphic and media files, online marketing, and print production
  • Proficient with Windows-based PC and a solid working knowledge of standard Microsoft applications
  • Proven ability to define metrics and track performance of various online and offline marketing activities to bring multiple projects to completion with quality, speed and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and fluency in written and spoken English
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

  • Demonstrated good judgment under pressure and the ability and experience to work within a self-managed work team
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
  • German language skills are an advantage
  • Should enjoy working collaboratively in a team environment

Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize, recommend, develop, implement, and communicate integrated marketing communication plans to generate demand, influence purchase decisions, and increase awareness for our products/brands
  • Develop tactical plans and drive them to completion; tactical areas include advertising, public relations, channel marketing, website content, promotions, and trade events
  • Create or adapt content for various channels (including digital platforms, social media, email marketing, and print materials) to enhance customer awareness, engagement, and preference, drawing on a strong understanding of value propositions, applications and competitive landscape provided by the commercial and business teams
  • Collaborate with internal channel experts, external agencies, vendors, and partners to manage and execute a multitude of projects within budgetary constraints
  • Ensure that all marketing communications comply with brand/trademark guidelines, as well as enhance/protect Gore’s brand and reputation
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), providing regular updates and insights to stakeholders
