Responsibilities:
JOIN THE CITY OF SYDNEY’S DRIVEN AND ENERGETIC MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS UNIT IN A HANDS-ON ROLE.
The right candidate will be a solutions-driven, creative, and audience-focused marketer with the ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders. You’ll have experience delivering impactful marketing and communications programs and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously. As an effective collaborator with genuine enthusiasm for the subject matter, your work will cover a broad range of topics, from core council services to our major events.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
- Work collaboratively to plan, develop, execute, and measure effective marketing communications programs across paid, earned, shared, and owned channels.
- Use content management systems to moderate and publish content on the City of Sydney’s web platforms.
- Use email marketing software to build and send email campaigns.
- Coordinate the delivery of marketing campaigns, including:
- Managing advertising schedules
- Writing advertising and website copy
- Preparing briefs for artwork, photography, and content production
- Managing design collateral with our internal creative services team
- Producing content such as articles and using online design tools to create communications material
- Reporting and making recommendations
- Be a member of project and product teams as required.
- Use digital asset management software to better organize and access City of Sydney images, videos, and other branded content.
