SGS Ireland are seeking a Marketing and Communications Specialist to join our team.
Reporting to the Commercial Operations Manager, you will be accountable for planning and executing effective marketing and communication strategies for both SGS Ireland and our individual business lines and contracts, while analysing the effectiveness of each campaign and lead generation initiatives.
The successful candidate will play an integral role in building and engaging the company’s customer base by creating strategies that will promote long-term growth across the portfolio of products and services offered by SGS Ireland.
Job Description
- Coordinate the overall marketing plan and strategy for SGS Ireland to support its business development activities and growth strategies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and Business Management teams to align marketing, brand and communication efforts with their business objectives
- Working with the business management team to identify relevant market intelligence to assist the business in collating valid and accurate market data.
- Work closely with the Commercial Operations team to conduct market research and analyse trends to identify new marketing opportunities.
- Establish key metrics for all proposed marketing campaigns and activities that are aligned to client and business objectives
- Design and creation of marketing collateral and content for various channels, including digital, social media, print and events
- Manage relationships with internal global resources, external agencies, suppliers and partners to ensure the successful delivery of marketing and communication initiatives.
- Manage logistics and communications for SGS Ireland webinars/ events/ training/ conferences
- Co-ordinate with the global marketing team to identify, segment and target the appropriate audience in line with corporate marketing and branding guidelines
- Manage the website content (update of existing pages and creation of campaign pages)
- Implement and optimise online adverts through Google AdWords, Facebook, Instagram (and other relevant platforms) to increase company brand and awareness
- Support SGS global brand team with the integration of SGS Ireland acquisitions and contracts; in particular, with communications and branding
- Build and nurture relationships with external influencers, bodies and associations and identify opportunities for collaboration/promotion
- Leverage the CRM to track the customer journey, nurture leads and pull reports
- Manage the SGS Ireland marketing budget and provide regular updates to management on spend
- Develop and maintenance of Marketing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Best Practice
- At all times, adopt a safe behaviour by exercising due regard for the health and safety of yourself, colleagues, and clients, in line with the Company’s policies and procedures
- Ensure full compliance with the Company’s Code of Integrity, and act in accordance with SGS Ireland’s Equality & Diversity Policy
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience as marketing executive or similar role
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a related field
- Third level qualification in marketing, business administration or relevant discipline
- High level of written and verbal English
