POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Marketing Content & Brand Strategy Lead will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s content and brand strategy, bridging creative content development with strategic branding. This role is a blend of hands-on content creation, campaign execution, and brand architecture, without direct managerial responsibility. The individual will guide the team in executing projects, ensuring consistency in messaging, and helping elevate the company’s brand presence.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related fields.
  • Experience in B2B marketing and technical content creation, especially in manufacturing, mining, construction, engineering or equivalent is strongly preferred.
  • Expertise in both content development and visual brand strategy.
  • Proficiency in marketing and design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics).
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for tradeshows, conferences, and industry events within North America.

Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation & Strategy:
  • Develop high-quality content, including technical blogs, whitepapers, case studies, and social media posts, tailored for our industry.
  • Translate complex product offerings into engaging and digestible content that resonates with target audiences.

Brand Development & Strategy:

  • Refine and enhance brand guidelines, ensuring consistent visual and messaging alignment across all channels.
  • Assist in the creation and refinement of customer personas, ensuring content speaks directly to industry professionals’ needs.

Campaign Execution:

  • Lead and execute integrated marketing campaigns, from digital ads to email marketing, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Track, measure, and optimize marketing efforts, using data to adjust strategies for optimal performance.

Mentorship & Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with junior marketing staff, providing mentorship, support, and leadership in content creation and project execution.
  • Act as a resource for both junior and cross-functional teams, driving best practices in brand consistency and market communication.

Industry Engagement and Representation

  • Represent the company at tradeshows, conferences, and industry events to promote products, engage with clients, and enhance brand visibility.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute strategies for event participation, including booth design and promotional materials.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitors by attending relevant events and providing insights for strategic planning.
