Description:

The Content Marketing Specialist for the Americas is responsible for creating relevant content that engages people through all online and offline marketing channels. This position is responsible for creating a variety of content types including written content, videos, presentations as well as concepts for infographics, animations and gifs. The specialist will collaborate with a central design team and external agencies to project manage the content creation process while adhering to strict global branding guidelines.
The ability to effectively communicate complex information in a manner that attracts, engages, and converts our target audiences is important. Balancing multiple content projects with competing priorities, meeting all deadlines without compromising quality and a positive outlook will be essential.
The candidate should have strong knowledge of inbound marketing methodologies and understand the dynamics of content and performance marketing tactics, and how these contribute to traffic, engagement, conversion and driving overall demand generation.
This position represents the Kardex Americas region on the global content team and requires monthly global meetings. The ideal candidate would be well-organized and detail orientated morning person with strong writing skills and an eye for design.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage an annual content plan aligned with the campaign strategy.
  • Create engaging content for all stages of the sales funnel, including how-to guides, whitepapers, industry trend reports, tip sheets, eBooks, webinars, calculators, and more.
  • Lead the execution of compelling case studies by securing sales support, coordinating with customers and developing written overviews, press releases, and video content as needed.
  • Drive audience engagement through video content, including long-form educational videos and short-form awareness videos, either by working with a third party videographer, re-using existing video content for shorter snippets or capturing audio/video with internal team members.
  • Support content distribution and promotion to third-party industry publications and channels.
  • Collaborate closely with the Campaign Specialist, contributing content and ideas to drive measurable results.
  • Partner with the Social Media Specialist to create and integrate content that supports the broader social media strategy.
  • Monitor content performance across multiple channels (website, email, third-party platforms) and recommend adjustments to improve engagement and metrics.
  • Maintain and manage the content library to ensure easy access and organization of assets.
  • Contribute to the development of lead nurturing strategies through improved messaging.
  • Provide input on messaging for events and webinars to ensure consistent brand communication.
