ABOUT HAYMES PAINT

From our humble beginnings in 1935, Haymes Paint has grown from a small paint manufacturer, selling to the local Ballarat community, to Australia’s largest manufacturer of premium brand paints, finishes, and protective coatings. Our products aren’t available in the big, corporate hardware stores, we choose instead to sell through independent retailers, where we can trust that the quality of personal service and advice matches the quality of our products - after all, it’s the Haymes name and reputation on the can.

ABOUT YOU

• We are looking for the right person to join our collaborative team in a dynamic working environment.
• Qualification in Marketing or Business preferred with ideally 1-2 years work experience in marketing or administration
• Self-motivated, energetic and confident
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn, no matter your experience level
• Stakeholder management and influencing skills, collaborative attitude with ability and desire to develop long term positive relationships
• Ability to manage your time and prioritise tasks whilst working to agreed time frames
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Highly organised and a strong attention to detail
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools and social media platforms
• Fluent in MS Office including Excel and Powerpoint
• Based in Abbotsford (with infrequent travel to Ballarat)

• Assist with the day-to-day delivery of marketing plans and activities focussing on:
• Coordinate the Go to Market plan execution in conjunction with key stakeholders
• Execution of marketing materials to support market segments
• Coordinate communication of marketing initiatives to key internal and external stakeholders
• Assist with content creation across social media, eDM, website and eCommerce
• Monitor and report on campaign performance, adjusting tactics to ensure ongoing effectiveness
• Invoicing and budget tracking
• Work with the broader Marketing team to deliver marketing initiatives through a number of channels including print, eDMs, SMS, digital, social media and instore digital screens
• Social media content scheduling, publishing and community management
• Assist with coordination of events, promotions and sponsorship opportunities
• Monitor and report on Haymes Paint and competitor marketing performance
• Co-ordinate branded item monitoring, procurement and distribution
