Description:

As a Marketing Coordinator, your key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the operations of the Marketing and Communications team through the implementation of consistent and effective marketing practices, under the general direction of the Marketing Business Partners and the Senior Brand and Campaign Specialist, including undertaking marketing activities that align with strategic priorities, as well as providing broad administrative services.
  • Executing recommended marketing solutions by using creative and analytical skills to assess marketing requirements and provide customer-first specialist marketing advice, including annual marketing plans and to also support brand and campaign activity.
  • Being skilled at stakeholder relations and negotiations, positively influencing marketing best practice within and outside of the Marketing and Communications team, working within a close-knit team independently, within timelines and to self-manage scheduled workloads.
  • Being available to work after hours and/or on weekends for some marketing activities and events.

Responsibilities:

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE:

  • A tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, or similar and relevant experience; or a lesser formal qualification and substantial experience and specialist marketing expertise; or a suitable combination of education and marketing experience.
  • Ability to critically assess customer and stakeholder needs and provide specialist marketing advice and recommendations as well as designing, developing, and trialling procedures that are strategically aligned and showcase effectiveness and efficiency in marketing practice.
  • Have a creative, customer-first mindset with good written and verbal communication skills including the ability to prepare a variety of marketing and communication materials and tools that effectively engage with audiences.
  • Be organised, with strong attention to detail and high-level MS Office skills to produce accurate and engaging quality documentation.
  • Ability to use sound judgement and work independently with strong stakeholder skills.
