Description:

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage and provide support where required.
  • Proficiency in Adobe suite preferred – specifically Photoshop
  • Previous experience in Marketing or Digital Marketing is preferred
  • Excellent communicator, with a high level of numeracy and literacy in English
  • Excellent time keeping and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work under pressure both individually and as part of a team
  • Demonstrate a desire for self-improvement and enthusiasm to learn new skills
  • Excellent computer and administration skills, including Microsoft Office applications

    Responsibilities:

    THE ROLE

    As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking an enthusiastic Marketing Coordinator to join our office team.
    The successful candidate will have a positive attitude and approach to their work, with the ability to think outside the box and assist the Marketing Manager with the fast-paced demands of a growing department. Previous experience or education in Marketing/Digital Marketing, as well as a proficiency in the Adobe suite, particularly Photoshop, is preferred.

    MAIN DUTIES

    • Research: Gathering data on buying trends, market needs, competition and industry news
    • Content creation: Writing copy for marketing material, such as brochures and newsletters
    • Campaign management: Monitoring the progress of marketing campaigns, collecting feedback, and measuring ROI
    • Event planning: Helping to set up and facilitate marketing events, such as conferences, exhibitions, and trade shows
    • Website and social media management: Maintaining websites, social media accounts, blogs, and database systems
    • Client support: Providing client support and coordination for customers
    • Presentation creation: Creating and delivering presentations and reports of findings, statistics, and insights
    • Office support: Answering phone calls, sorting mail, and arranging appointments
