In your day to day you’ll be working on the collection, visualization, and analysis of data from various marketing channels that Dataminr uses to reach potential clients. This US-based role can be remote or based out of our New York City office.

The opportunity

  • Data Collection: Gather and consolidate marketing data from various sources, including websites, social media, email campaigns, paid digital, and CRM systems.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, correlations related to customer behavior, campaign performance, and market dynamics.
  • ROI Analysis: Calculate and assess the return on investment (ROI) for marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Recommendations: Provide actionable recommendations to optimize marketing strategies, improve conversion rates, and enhance customer acquisition and retention.
  • Data Visualization: Use data visualization tools, like Looker to present insights and findings in a clear and compelling way.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, engineering to ensure data accuracy and alignment with business goals.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g. Data Science, Business Analytics, etc). An MBA is strongly preferred
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g. Excel, Google Analytics, Looker, Snowflake, ETL tools).
  • Knowledge of marketing automation platforms (e.g. Hubspot, Marketo).
  • Familiarity with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Experience in marketing analytics or a related role is a plus.

Colorado, New York, California, Washington only: The salary range for this position is as indicated below. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, applicant skills, and prior relevant experience, among other factors.
Colorado: $121,500 - $133,500
New York/California/Washington: $135,000 - $148,500
