Responsibilities:
ROLE PURPOSE:
To ensure all direct marketing campaigns are dispatched and reported as per set criteria with the product teams.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE ROLE
- Coordinate and Execute Campaigns: Manage mailer and SMS campaigns, ensuring they align with marketing strategies and schedules.
- Utilize Marketing Automation Tools: Leverage marketing automation platforms to create, schedule, and dispatch targeted communications to specific customer segments.
- Collaborate on Content Development: Work closely with the marketing team to craft compelling messaging and creative content for mailers and SMS campaigns.
- Monitor and Analyze Performance: Track campaign performance metrics, analyze data, and provide actionable insights to optimize future campaigns.
- Ensure Compliance: Adhere to regulatory requirements and best practices in direct marketing.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Keep detailed records of campaign activities, including scheduling, delivery, and results.
- Stay Informed on Industry Trends: Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in marketing communications.
- Data Management: Collect data from primary and secondary sources, ensuring the integrity and maintenance of databases and data systems.
- Data Analysis: Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex datasets.
- Data Cleansing and Quality Assurance: Cleanse data and review computer-generated reports to identify and correct coding errors.
SPECIALIST SKILLS / TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in marketing communications, with a focus on Digital and Direct marketing campaigns.
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms, specifically Ducont and Acoustic (formerly known as IBM Watson Campaign Automation)
- Expert knowledge of MS Office, specifically EXCEL.
- Expert knowledge of HTML and workable knowledge of Java and CSS coding
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, such as GDPR and CAN-SPAM, governing email and SMS marketing.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
