POSITION OVERVIEW
We’re looking for an experienced Marketing & Design Specialist who can combine creativity with data-driven strategies to showcase our bakery’s unique offerings. This role requires real-life experience and proven results- we want someone who’s not just familiar with the tactics, but has successfully implemented and optimized them in a professional setting. You’ll lead our marketing efforts across various digital platforms, craft compelling visual materials, and drive our CRM initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
In addition to a competitive base salary, this position offers an annual performance-based bonus, rewarding you for delivering measurable results and contributing to the success of our bakery.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven track record (2+ years) in a hands-on marketing/design role, with measurable accomplishments in driving sales or engagement.
- Hands-on experience with website content management, social media marketing, email campaigns, and CRM systems.
- Advanced proficiency in graphic design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite or similar).
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret metrics and translate them into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Passion for baking or food-related industries is a plus!
6. Customer Journey & User Experience
- Map out and optimize the end-to-end customer journey, from initial discovery to repeat purchases.
- Implement improvements based on analytics and customer feedback to boost conversions.
- Highlight real-world cases where you optimized the user journey to achieve tangible results
Responsibilities:
- Website Management & Optimization
- Oversee website design and user experience, ensuring a visually appealing and mobile-responsive interface.
- Update and optimize product listings, blog posts, and on-page SEO to drive online traffic.
- Demonstrate proven success in improving site performance and customer engagement.
- Email Marketing & CRM
- Develop effective email campaigns using automation tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact) to nurture leads and grow our customer base.
- Manage segmentation and personalization strategies to increase open and click-through rates.
- Utilize CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho) to streamline customer data, track interactions, and create successful loyalty programs.
- Showcase past experience in achieving measurable improvements in email ROI and customer retention.
- Social Media & Digital Advertising
- Plan, create, and schedule engaging social media content across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest.
- Manage paid advertising campaigns (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, Google Ads), optimizing for a high return on ad spend.
- Demonstrate a track record of growing audiences and driving sales through targeted campaigns.
- Branding & Graphic Design
- Maintain and refine a consistent brand identity using design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva).
- Design promotional materials, social media graphics, email templates, and packaging.
- Product Photography & Styling
- Capture high-quality images of bakery products (cakes, pastries, desserts) for use on the website, social media, and print materials.
- Demonstrate an understanding of basic styling techniques (e.g., lighting, props, composition) to highlight the textures and appeal of baked goods.
- Show examples of past product photography work (a portfolio or social media presence) that has directly contributed to increased sales or brand recognition.
- Customer Journey & User Experience

- Provide examples of data-driven optimizations you’ve implemented and the outcomes achieved.
- Project Management & Collaboration
- Coordinate product launches, seasonal promotions, and marketing calendars.
- Collaborate with internal teams (bakery staff, designers, and managers) to align on goals and timelines.
- Show us your proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver on deadlines.
