The Job Profile
Simon & Schuster Australia are looking for an experienced Marketing Designer to join the team. Reporting to a senior member of the marketing & publicity team, the candidate for the role will be responsible for creating eye-catching and engaging creative collateral materials to support our books and authors.
The Job Role
The role involves working closely with the Marketing Team to deliver imaginative, effective and impactful creative to promote our books and authors. The role involves working on a variety of collateral and mediums from outdoor advertising to print, point-of-sale and digital creative.
The Candidate Profile
The successful candidate would have experience in working in a fast-paced creative environment, with a portfolio of work that demonstrates creative, high quality design solutions across a broad range of print and online design projects and communications. The candidate will be confident in using Adobe CS Cloud design package, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro with experience in video editing and trailer creation.
A prowess for multi-tasking and innovative thinking is a must, as is exemplary organisational skills and an eye for detail, the ability to handle a variety of campaigns from debuts to brand and celebrity authors, and the ability to juggle multiple campaigns at once.
