OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Marketing and Development Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in expanding Rippleacts’ reach and impact.
The person will engage and work closely with potential public and private partner organisations, including local businesses, to build new partnerships, market our face-to-face and virtual coaching products and scope sponsorship opportunities for our pro bono projects. The ideal candidate is passionate about social enterprise, employability support, coaching and wellbeing work, loves networking, has ideally some experience in building partnerships with the private and public sectors, and thrives in a dynamic, flexible environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partnership Development:

o Build and maintain relationships with public and private organisations, including local businesses and authorities.
o Identify and develop new partnerships that will benefit Rippleacts’ growth and mission.

o Explore and secure sponsorship opportunities for our pro bono work.

  • Marketing & Outreach:

o Promote Rippleacts’ coaching products (both non-profit and commercial) through online and face-to-face channels.
o Research and create engaging content for social media posts, newsletters, and marketing materials.
o Manage and grow Rippleacts’ social media presence, ensuring regular, relevant, and impactful content.

o Attend job fairs, community events, and networking opportunities to represent Rippleacts.

  • Communication & Reporting:

o Contribute to the development of reports and funding proposals.
o Ensure all communication reflects Rippleacts’ values and mission with professionalism, coherence and clarity.

Key Requirements:

  • Passion for Social Impact: o Interest in social enterprise and a commitment to improving the wellbeing and employability of unemployed individuals, particularly those facing multiple challenges.
  • Networking & Relationship-Building Skills: o Confident and eloquent, with excellent interpersonal skills. o Outgoing, comfortable in networking environments, and able to build strong relationships with a range of different stakeholders.
  • Marketing & Communication: o Strong written and spoken English with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively. o Creative in developing marketing content and campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences. o Desirable: Experience creating content for social media and newsletters.
  • Organisational Skills: o Able to multitask, prioritise effectively, and manage time in a fast-paced, evolving environment. o Reliable and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Technical Skills: o Good IT literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office and social media platforms. o Familiarity with web management (Wix) and design tools (Canva) is a plus but not essential.

Lived experience of long-term unemployment is welcome and valued.
