Responsibilities:
YOUR ROLE
Reporting to the Events Director, you will lead the marketing function, positioning PAY360 as a global leader, enhancing member engagement, and growing our vibrant payments and fintech community.
This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, ensuring the successful delivery of campaigns that reflect our brand, achieve measurable outcomes, and foster international partnerships.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
a. Strategic Leadership
- Direct and mentor a team of four marketing professionals and freelance support, ensuring clear accountability and alignment with objectives.
- Oversee and manage our database and CRM ensuring that we market intelligently with our data, tailoring campaigns to our audience.
- Develop strategies to re-engage data across the business.
- Create reports to track and improve the top-of-funnel to sales conversions, strategy.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with organisational goals, including events, membership, and editorial.
- Oversee marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximise ROI.
- Define KPIs and track campaign performance, refining strategies to drive measurable success.
- Inject creativity and flare to create engaging, eye-catching and interactive social media campaigns.
- Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Executive Committee (ExCo) to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
b. Event Marketing. Support and work with the Head of Event Marketing to:
- Position PAY360 as a premier global event, achieving ambitious sponsorship, attendance, and revenue targets.
- Drive delegate acquisition through PPC, email automation, and targeted campaigns.
- Develop impactful sponsorship materials and nurture long-term partnerships.
c. Membership Engagement and acquisition. Support and work with the Membership Marketing Manager to:
- Enhance member retention with personalised onboarding, loyalty programmes, and engagement & usage campaigns.
- Leverage CRM tools and AI-driven engagement scoring to optimise interactions.
- Launch targeted campaigns to grow membership and drive referrals.
d. Content and community growth. Collaborate with Editorial, Policy, and Working Group Heads of Department to:
- Drive thought-leadership campaigns, repurposing high-value content into engaging formats like webinars, blogs, and infographics.
- Expand international outreach through localised campaigns and global partnerships.
e. Website & Tech-stack. Support and work with the Senior Leadership Team to:
- Develop the website as a product.
- Manage website enhancements to improve UX, performance and content visibility.
- Oversee and manage customer journeys.
- Manage HubSpot and its development to support our organisational goals and deliver upon the Marketing targets & strategy.
