WHAT IS OUR CLIENT LOOKING FOR?
Our client is seeking a Marketing and Event Coordinator to join their growing team. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting marketing initiatives and planning events that enhance the firm’s brand presence and engagement. You will collaborate closely with their Marketing Advisor, internal stakeholders, vendors, etc. to execute marketing campaigns and events that align with the firm’s marketing strategies.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Planning, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in marketing coordination and/or event planning.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with marketing software (ie. Canva, HubSpot, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience using major social media platforms (such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) for professional purposes, including content creation, audience engagement, and brand promotion.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools and best practices for optimizing reach and engagement is an asset.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including occasional evenings and weekends for event execution.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

Responsibilities:
Event Planning & Execution:
- Assist in event logistics, including venue selection, contract negotiation, vendor management, catering and on-site coordination.
- Assist in developing and maintaining event timelines, budgets, and post-event reports to evaluate success and areas for improvement.
Marketing Support:
- Assist in the creation, execution, and tracking of marketing campaigns across various platforms, including email, social media, and digital advertising.
- Coordinate the development of marketing materials, such as presentations, promotional items, etc.
- Assist in social media accounts by scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and providing content ideas to enhance our online presence.
- Assist in campus recruitment marketing campaigns.
Communication & Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing team to support strategic initiatives and align event activities with marketing objectives.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external parties to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all marketing and event activities.
- Assist with writing and editing content for marketing content on social media and other communication pieces.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain an organize calendar of events, marketing activities and deadlines.
- Assist in tracking and managing budgets, invoices, and expenses related to marketing and event activities.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support marketing strategies.
