MARKETING AND DIGITAL EXECUTIVE
CarFest is one of the UK’s largest family festivals, combining cars, music, food and family entertainment to create unforgettable experiences while raising funds for UK children’s charities.
SKILLS, ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE
- Proactive and able to work both well as part of a team and independently
- Strong copywriting and creative skills – have an eye for detail
- An eye for design and Photoshop/Canva experiences preferable
- Experience in building and sending emails in Email Marketing platform ‘DotDigital’ or other similar platform
- Time Management skills – ability to work calmly under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work with all team members (from the most junior to the most senior)
- Strong Interpersonal skills, excellent communicator and a sensitive approach to customer enquiries
- Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills and knowledge
- PR and/or Social Media related experience or knowledge is preferable
Responsibilities:
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are recruiting for an enthusiastic, committed and creative Marketing and Digital Executive to work on CarFest. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for delivering the CarFest marketing campaign, creating awareness and buzz with the ultimate objective of selling tickets for each CarFest event. This is the perfect opportunity for a driven marketeer with digital know-how, to develop their skills and work as part of a successful and dynamic team within a treasured brand.

Term: Full time (5 days per week and weekends when required)
Salary: £25k per annum with competitive benefits package
Location: North West House, 119 Marylebone Rd, London NW1 5PU, home address, and onsite at Events.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with the Marketing Team on the creation, development and implementation of the marketing and communications plan in order to achieve event objectives
- Help maintain day-to-day relationships with agencies and suppliers including design and creative, ticketing, print and media buying and PR
- Project manage digital marketing channels, creating and delivering content across:
- Website – manage and update appropriately
- Email Campaigns – write, build and launch regular emails to database using our newsletter platform Dot Digital
- Social Media – work closely with a social media agency to deliver a successful organic and paid social media campaign
- Copywriting for email and print campaigns
- Liaising with exhibitors and supporters to maximise third-party marketing
- Liaising with suppliers to ensure all deadlines are met and projects delivered on budget
- Brainstorming, exploring and implementing new routes to market the events
- Respond to visitor enquiries received by phone, email and social media
