Carraig Donn is 100% Irish owned and operated. We currently employ over 500 people across our Head Office and retail stores with 40 branches nationwide. Our central warehouse, buying offices, dispatch center and e-commerce operations are all conducted from our home on the Lodge Road, Westport, Co. Mayo. With buying offices also located in Ennis, and Dublin. Carraig Donn is continuing to grow year on year, with an exciting 10-year expansion plan.

REQUIREMENTS

• 2-3 years’ relevant experience in marketing (management level not essential)
• Marketing and/or fashion and lifestyle styling related training/degree
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Self-starter with the ability to make a creative impact
• A strong commercial focus for driving sales through visual assets
• Interest in digital marketing practices and latest social media trends
• A strong interest in fashion, jewellery, gift & homeware products
• A passion for media, social media and trends

THE ROLE

We are currently expanding the team and have an exciting opportunity to join our Marketing Department as Marketing Executive. We are looking for an ambitious marketing professional who thrives working in a fast-paced environment and loves working on varied projects. This is an opportunity to work on lots of elements of marketing practice and multiple channels.

DUTIES

• Assist the Head of Marketing in the day-to-day operations of the Marketing Department
• Oversee & assist with the implementation of marketing campaigns through available channels (both offline and online channels)
• Demonstrate best practice of company profile in all aspects of the business
• Assist in on-site maintenance, population, merchandising and functionality
• SEO on site + Blog writing
• Assist in creating content for Carraig Donn’s social channels
• Attend and assist on photoshoots, assist in preparation for photoshoots
• Assist in the co-ordination of PR, Influencer + TV activity
• Tracking digital trends, social channels and latest marketing practices
• Always be open to innovating and changing practices to meet the business
• Travel to store events & company conferences when necessary
• Research new projects on behalf of the team
• Monitor weekly buyer memos and action requirements
• Coordinate any tasks assigned in an efficient manner with the optimal outcome in mind
• Always be thinking ahead and foreseeing barriers to success of the department
