Job Summary
The Marketing Implementation Manager leads enterprise scale initiatives impacting the communications experience of Tufts Health Plan Government Markets members. As a key member of the marketing organization, they will partner closely with the Government Markets Marketing Operations and Creative teams and cross-functional teams across the organization to support their marketing and communications needs, as well as the overall business strategy supporting Government Markets products. The position is a visible, self-directed position, with exposure to all levels of management.

Key Responsibilities/Duties – what you will be doing

  • Manage SMS vendor relationship, daily operations, performance analysis and lead strategic planning process.
  • Oversee planning and execution of market research initiatives. Partner with Point32Health market research team to define Government Markets research priorities, develop project plans and execute to plan. Analyze and present key findings from marketing surveys with respective internal business partners and make recommendations for strategic projects.
  • Serve as a key member of the marketing organization to represent the product-based needs in planning, strategy and content creation for enterprise-wide programmatic changes and new program implementations.
  • Manage the development and creation of external communications, campaigns, collateral, or other materials for defined efforts including member retention activities.
  • Serve as a key contact and resource for enterprise teams with needs for required communications such as regulatory changes or value-add offerings.
  • Partner with marketing analytics team to develop data-driven project plans and member engagement strategies. Develop ongoing campaign monitoring practices.
  • Own member incentive program, including oversight of fulfillment operations as well as strategic planning and ongoing program improvements and strategy.
  • Develop, enhance and document business processes within marketing operations governance.
  • Supervise junior marketing team member.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications – what you need to perform the job

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:

  • Four (4) year degree in communications, marketing, or another relevant field

EXPERIENCE (minimum years required):

  • 5-8 years of relevant professional experience including marketing for B2C audiences
  • Experience and success working with sales and product teams to develop strategic and tactical plans in support of business goals
  • Experience with regulated industries is desirable
  • Experience with diverse consumer marketing is desirable.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proactive, resourceful; ability to problem solve
  • Comfort and appreciation for defining strategies, objectives, measurement and assessment of marketing tactics and plans
  • Confident and skilled at building consensus (verbal and written, including presenting concepts, campaigns, and plans). Strong presentation skills and ability to create compelling presentations.
  • Strong project management and foundational data analysis skills, process-oriented
  • Ability to work independently and part of cross-functional teams, including outside community-based organizations regulators or vendors.
  • Flexible, accountable, and mature
  • An ability to work effectively with a diverse set of colleagues and personalities
  • An appreciation for evolution and refinement to enhance outcomes and impact
  • Knowledge of the entire Microsoft suite of office tools, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel; basic design principles for brand adherence
  • Extensive experience utilizing Excel for reporting and data manipulation; experience with Tableau for and data analysis preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS (include special requirements, e.g., lifting, travel):

  • Must be able to work under normal office conditions and work from home as required.
  • Work may require simultaneous use of a telephone/headset and PC/keyboard and sitting for extended durations.
  • May be required to work additional hours beyond standard work schedule.
