Marketing Intern

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing Intern to join our team. This central role involves working directly with employees, contractors, and a global client database. Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Commercial Manager, you will support various marketing and administrative tasks, contributing to our company’s operations and growth. This role offers a balance of routine and ad hoc tasks, ideal for those looking to gain comprehensive marketing experience.
Salary meets National Minimum Wage.
Hours: 40 hours (Monday - Friday) inclusive of one hour paid lunch.
Key Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Familiarity with social media management tools like Hootsuite.
• Basic understanding of content creation and graphic design.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tasks.
• Interest in marketing and a willingness to assist in various tasks.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

EXPERIENCE

Digital marketing: 1 year (preferred)
Marketing: 1 year (preferred)
Work Location: In person between 2 offices - West Nautical, Jesmond NE2 & Marine Chandlery, North Shields NE29
