TECHNICAL SKILLS

- CRM: Knowledge of CRM systems to manage and nurture leads.
- Web Analytics: Understanding of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to track website performance.
- Design Skills: Basic design skills or ability to work closely with designers.
EXPERIENCE
- Relevant Experience: Proven track record in marketing, preferably in a digital agency or similar industry.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the latest marketing trends and technologies.
Responsibilities:
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for conceiving, developing and executing effective marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, generate leads, and support business growth for Candyspace. This role will require a proactive, strategic thinker with strong analytical and communication skills, who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve marketing objectives.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES
- Strategic Planning: Conceive, develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with Candyspace’s overall business goals. Conduct market research and analysis to identify target audiences, trends, and opportunities. Define key prospective client journeys and the appropriate marketing mix to attract, engage and convert prospective clients into marketing qualified leads.
- Campaign Management: Define, plan and run end-to-end lead generation and lead nurturing campaigns across various marketing lifecycle stages. Work in close collaboration with the Business Development Manager to ensure a complete handover of leads. Report on the performance of campaigns and proactively optimise these.
- Brand Management: Oversee the development and maintenance of Candyspace’s brand identity and messaging across all marketing channels. Ensure consistency and alignment with the company’s values and positioning.
- Content Strategy: Develop and execute a content strategy that attracts and engages target audiences. Oversee the creation of high-quality content, including blog posts, articles, case studies, whitepapers, award entries and social media content.
- Digital Marketing: Lead the strategy, planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing, video marketing and other digital content. Monitor performance metrics and optimise campaigns for maximum ROI.
- Website Management: Oversee the effective management and optimisation of the Candyspace website. Ensure that the website is user-friendly, visually appealing, aligned with the brand’s identity and optimised to deliver leads. Collaborate with the delivery team to implement website updates and improvements.
- Marketing Communications: Manage all external communications, including press releases and updating directory listings.
- Event Management: Define, plan, and organise marketing events, such as webinars, roundtables, and panels, both online and in person. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of events.
- Marketing Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the marketing function, including budgeting, resource allocation, and project management. Ensure that marketing activities are executed efficiently and effectively.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on marketing performance and provide insights to senior management. Analyse data to identify trends, measure ROI, and optimise marketing strategies.
