GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Marketing Manager for the UK and Europe (EU) is responsible for the strategic direction of the marketing channel within these regions. Delivering and executing marketing activity that is strategically aligned, on brand, on time and on budget, meeting business needs to drive revenue growth and gain competitive advantage. You will oversee marketing and communications for the UK and EU regions, including, product and category marketing, regional marketing, dealer/channel support, communications, media relations and PR

  • Educated to degree standard or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in sales, marketing, social media management, or a related role

Responsibilities:

  • Create & Manage a comprehensive UK and EU Marketing plan with clear objectives.
  • Ensure your UK and EU marketing strategy alig .
  • Identify new marketing opportunities to raise the profile of CBS.
  • Analyse marketing activities and identify key insights to improve marketing efforts.
  • Evaluate and recommend Events schedule within budget.
  • Manage GDPR Marketing process.
  • Product: Work alongside Product management to lead marketing activities for product launches and enhance awareness and demand for the existing product portfolio, in line with commercial objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Regional: Working alongside Sales leadership to execute integrated regional marketing plans across defined UK and EU markets.
  • Innovation: Work alongside the Innovation and Insights team to utilise market research initiatives in targeting A&D/OEMS/Dealers and to understand CBS’s current position and new marketing opportunities.
  • Communications: Lead internal and external integrated communications planning – inc. PR, media outreach, along with the management of associated PR agencies and programmes, including award applications, case studies.
  • Channel: Working alongside Channel Development build marketing strategy for new vertical markets with a specific focus on proposition development, channel approach, and insight development, which leads to actionable plans and revenue growth.
  • Collateral: Guide marketing collateral development to ensure appropriate allocation of time and resources ensuring a high quality of marketing outputs from the team and liaise with colleagues in the wider Marketing team to leverage asset and tools to ensure the needs of the UK and EU are taken into consideration.
  • CRM: Working alongside the Digital and Social Specialist as well as the UK and EU Sales teams to drive marketing value from SalesForce CRM system.
  • Showroom: Work alongside Channel Development and facilities to ensure the showroom is up to date and relevant to support the selling process.
