AGF’s Marketing & Innovation team is responsible for delivering timely and effective marketing, communications, digital and product initiatives and programs that support respective business priorities, partners and ultimately AGF’s clients. About the Role:
The Marketing Manager, Channel Marketing will own the development and execution of AGF’s education and value-add initiatives to drive client engagement and loyalty. Working alongside Marketing peers and Sales stakeholders, this role offers an excellent opportunity to lead and influence the future state of AGF’s value add programs, focusing on content strategy and delivery.
This position is for a 6-month contract with the possibility for extension.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the full suite of educational content and programs for investors and advisors, including registered plans, investment concepts, practice management and publications under AGF’s Sound Choices program
  • Manage vendor relationships for AGF’s Continuing Education (CE) platform, collaborate with vendors to identify timely and relevant CE course topics and review content in accordance with brand standards and compliance regulations
  • Develop a robust editorial calendar to provide stakeholders with line of sight on content pipeline and priorities
  • Work collaboratively with Sales stakeholders and Channel Marketing to identify educational support for campaigns and sales initiatives
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics, engagement and usage of all value-add content and programs, providing regular insights and recommendations to the Marketing and Sales teams
  • Manage the dissemination of value-add content across AGF’s digital properties and platforms, focusing on user experience and personalization for investor and advisor channels on AGF.com
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory requirements and changes, and marketing best practices to continually enhance AGF’s education and value-add offerings
  • Provide tactical support as needed to support the broader marketing plan and objectives, including event/webcast execution and email marketing

Your Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a Marketing or Communications role within the financial services industry
  • Solid understanding of investment and wealth management concepts
  • Working knowledge of Canadian CE accreditation requirements and associations an asset
  • Strong writing skills, with a knack for transforming complex topics and information into simple, easy to digest content
  • Self-motivated with an ability to handle multiple projects and tasks and effectively meet all timelines
  • Familiarity with marketing tech platforms including CMS, Google Analytics (GA4) and sales enablement
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively as part of the broader Marketing team
  • IFIC and/or CSC an asset
