We’re on the hunt for an innovative thinker to take on the role of Marketing Manager at Chilled Pubs. In a widely corporate-dominated industry, we place HUGE importance on standing out from the crowd. We’re looking for a Marketing Manager who thrives on creativity and isn’t afraid to push boundaries.
This role is your chance to join our ever-growing central team. You’ll be reporting directly into the owner and ambition is actively encouraged. Our plans are big, bold, and sometimes a little ridiculous… But if you’re as serious about growth as we are, together, we’ll turn our audacious ideas into marketing magic that sets us apart from the rest.
This is an office/pub-based role, and will require frequent travel around our sites. A valid driving license and daily access to a vehicle is therefore crucial.
WHAT SKILLS, BEHAVIOURS & EXPERIENCE DO WE NEED?
- Previous marketing experience
- Previous people management experience
- An innovative and creative mind – someone who can think outside of the box…
- A confident, enthusiastic, warm & friendly people-person who works well alongside multiple stakeholders

- Sense of urgency, and a desire to work at a fast pace
- The ability to manage multiple ongoing projects at once
- Enjoys a variety of both desk-work & travelling around our pubs

In 2007, Loren embraced Richard’s ambitious dream, and together they purchased the Bulls Head in Repton. Seventeen years later, they have built a thriving pub business with 7 stunning pubs, a central Hub, over 600 employees, an industry-leading food & drink menu, and 7 mascot alpacas! With no signs of slowing down, Chilled Pubs aims to expand to 20 pubs in the near future.

Responsibilities:
Social Superstar
- You’re the captain of our social media ship, steering it through the ever-changing seas of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and beyond. Your mission? Stop those thumbs from scrolling!
- Plan shoot days, post engaging content and analyse the results - continuing to grow our brand & our loyal following.
Be the Brand Wizard ️
- You’ll conjure up magical marketing campaigns that leave people talking, laughing, maybe even crying (happy tears)
- Seasonal events, new menu intrigue, creation of ‘pre-order’ products, even the launch of new pubs! You will be at the creative centre of our brand, helping to drive footfall through excitement.
Data driven ️
- You’ll keep one eye on the numbers to ensure our campaigns are not just fun, but also effective
- Tracking the performance of our marketing strategies, making data-driven decisions that maximize our impact
Website Warrior
- You’re the guardian of our online presence, managing our websites and digital footprint.
- From keeping our website fresh and user-friendly, to optimizing our SEO and online listings - you’ll ensure that our brand looks just as good online as it does in the real world.
App-etite for success
- The Chilled Pubs App is an incredibly important element of our business…
- Working alongside our web-developer, you’ll assist in the maintenance & development of the app - helping to populate imagery, identify issues, and test new updates!
Guest Obsessed
- Our Helpdesk team are the first point of contact in the guest experience journey - it’s crucial we get off to a GREAT start…
- You will manage our small team of Helpdesk agents, who respond to all guest queries via our ‘Live Chat’ service - ensuring every question is answered with care & every guest feels valued.
Culture Champion
- From organizing team events to managing internal communications, you’ll inject passion, positivity, and LOTS of fun into everything we do!
- You’ll also play a key role in organising the annual ‘Dennis Awards’—a celebration of our team’s creativity and achievements
