Establishing ourselves within the UK in late 2020, we are committed to collaborating with lawyers, conveyancers, lenders, government and the property industry, to set the new standard for both remortgages and buying and selling property.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy that spans all five brands within the PEXA UK group.
  • Own and manage the communications calendar, ensuring alignment with marketing campaigns, corporate goals, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Oversee internal communications, ensuring employees are informed, engaged, and aligned with key business initiatives, updates, and cultural initiatives.
  • Lead corporate communications, including PR, media relations, crisis comms, and regulatory messaging to maintain and enhance the company’s reputation.
  • Craft compelling external messaging tailored to multiple B2B audiences, ensuring relevance for professional service providers such as conveyancers and lenders.
  • Develop, review, and approve all corporate and customer-facing copywriting, including press releases, thought leadership articles, executive statements, reports, and customer communications.
  • Work closely with the Content Manager and Head of Brand & Design to ensure content supports business priorities and is optimised for multiple channels.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing and Product Marketing teams to ensure alignment between communications strategies and wider marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee and support the Communications Executive with executional tasks such as social media management, campaign support, and reporting.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of communications activities, using analytics and insights to inform future strategies.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years’ experience in brand and communications roles, with at least 3 years in a management role
  • B2B Communications Expertise: Proven experience in a communications role within a professional services, financial, legal, or property sector, with a strong understanding of corporate and industry-specific messaging.
  • Advanced Copywriting & Storytelling: Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling, engaging, and persuasive content for multiple B2B audiences.
  • Internal & External Comms: Strong experience in managing both external PR and corporate communications, as well as internal communications strategies that enhance employee engagement.
  • Media Relations & PR: Ability to manage relationships with journalists, industry publications, and PR agencies to drive brand awareness and positive media coverage.
  • Crisis Communications & Reputation Management: Experience in handling sensitive or high-risk communications, ensuring a strategic and measured approach to crisis response.
  • Multi-Channel Content Strategy: Understanding of how to tailor messaging for different platforms, including web, social media, email, and traditional PR.
  • Team Leadership: Experience in managing and mentoring junior team members, providing clear guidance, development opportunities, and support.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to work effectively across teams, ensuring that communications are aligned with the wider marketing, sales, product and leadership teams.
  • Analytical Approach: Strong ability to measure the impact of communications initiatives using qualitative and quantitative data to optimise effectiveness.
  • Regulatory & Industry Awareness: Understanding of key regulatory and compliance considerations within the legal, property, and financial sectors to ensure messaging is compliant and appropriate.
