Description:

Key Areas of Accountability:

  • Proactively manages all aspects of marketing in the Philippines, evolving to stay ahead of the market and keep relevant to all target audiences.
  • Collaborates with country CM, sales managers, and commercial excellence to develop accurate forecasts and targets.
  • Drives development of KOLs and advocates as needed.
  • Drives the overall execution of the country marketing plan taking into account global and area initiatives, country priorities, and localization as needed.
  • Ensures strong alignment with area marketing and country leadership with periodic reviews.
  • Influences and supports the training of country sales teams to ensure strategy and plan are understood/actioned.
  • Collaborate with other functions like Comex, GA, PA as reqd to advance initiatives.
  • Partners with Acquisition and VE teams to improve win rate, increase customer loyalty and value.
  • Drives the development of country launch plans, ensuring they are relevant, realistic and robust – reflecting customer / market insights and area priorities.
  • Proactively engages sales teams to identify requirements for a successful launch – then partners to make it happen
  • Effectively tracks and takes responsibility for the impact of launches and adapts where required
  • Able to tie country initiatives to financial outcomes and marketing KPIs
  • Ables to recommend pricing based on value and market situation
  • Able to analyze market data, assess environmental trends and help generate insights.
  • Executes activities in the market in line with the franchise positioning and global strategy, and monitors how well they are being implemented in the area

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, engineering or related technical discipline is a must. MBA is preferred.
  • The candidate must have a marketing background.
  • Prior experience in diagnostics and sales is preferred.
  • Prior healthcare marketing experience is a must.
