Exciting Opportunity: Marketing Manager
Hours: Full time. 39 hours per week.
Salary: Between £38,000- £47,000 per annum, dependent on the knowledge and experience.
Location: Inverness.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Experience in a similar role, management experience is preferred.
  • Experience with digital marketing, including social media marketing, email marketing, marketing analytics, and content creation.
  • Experience with offline marketing, including print media, events marketing, and direct mail.
  • Experience with copywriting, public relations, and media management.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, in particular InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Illustrator.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:

  • Familiarity with the aquaculture and marine industries.

Responsibilities:

ROLE HIGHLIGHTS:

The Marketing Manager will oversee daily marketing and branding activities, playing a pivotal role in supporting the group to achieve sales targets, product commercialisation, strategic planning, and maintaining both internal and external brand image.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and optimise all marketing and communications in line with brand guidelines to support company activities including sales, lead generation, and employer branding.
  • Strategic oversight of market research and intelligence gathering to create, lead, and deliver the marketing strategy.
  • Manage the marketing budget.
  • Create and publish all marketing materials through digital platforms and print.
  • Create and implement promotional and content plans, analysing and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and communications.
  • Prepare press releases and respond to press requests, cultivating positive relationships with trade, local, and national media outlets.
  • Project manage the companys presence at exhibitions and events locally, nationally, and internationally.
  • Support intelligence gathering on markets and products, working with directors to take product innovation to commercialisation.
