Our commercial business in Canada features two key software solutions: Dentrix and Dentally. Dentrix is a comprehensive practice management software designed to empower dental offices with tools to enhance productivity, streamline operations, and improve patient care. It offers features such as automated billing, appointment reminders, and electronic claims processing. Dentally, on the other hand, is a cloud-based platform that provides flexible scheduling, patient management, and seamless integration with other systems, allowing dental practices to manage their operations efficiently from anywhere. Together, these products support the diverse needs of modern dental practices across Canada.
We are looking for an experienced, talented and driven Marketing Manager to join our growing team to support the marketing within the Canadianregion for our Henry Schein One software brands including Dentrix and Dentally.
About you
We’re looking for a Marketing Manager with a proven track record and strong business acumen to drive content-led, customer-centric strategies in Canada. This role is perfect for someone on the cusp of significant growth, starting as an individual contributor with the opportunity to expand the marketing function and shape strategy independently. With at least five years of experience, you’ll excel in project execution, decision-making, and understanding the commercial needs of a product brand. What you’ll be doing

  • Understand the commercial needs of the business within region and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure objectives are met to increase market share and develop revenue.
  • Develop strong collaborative relationships with the sales team both internal and external.
  • To align the global marketing strategy and messaging, translating it a local level.
  • Develop and maintain strong understanding of the market context, customers and prospects to drive themes and campaigns that will resonate to generate leads and engagement.
  • Scope and execute tactical campaigns including briefing and managing timescales and project parameters.
  • Manage the regional marketing budget.
  • Coordinate offline media advertising and PR opportunities.
  • Event management – in-person seminars, workshops, large trade shows as well as virtual events including webinars and educational-based sessions.
  • Reporting on all areas of marketing, including campaigns and ROI against clear KPI’s and objectives.
  • Competitor monitoring and reporting.
  • Ensure the global digital strategy is aligned with the regional market needs and focus, and provide insights to the market to drive this.
  • CRM data management and segmentation with relevant stakeholders.
  • Measure and optimise the customers journey as it relates to product feature adoption, usage, engagement and advocacy.
  • Align internal and external messaging, managing and creating sales materials and toolkits and supporting the customer experience journey for our go to market team.
  • Develop clear messaging positioning for our products, aligned to the context of the market and customer personas.
  • Work with various stakeholders on initiatives for awareness, demand generation and customer retention and advocacy
  • Partner with Henry Schein Inc. and other channels to drive awareness and education
  • Working closely with the centralised cross functional international marketing hub.
  • Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, Dentally International and the Regional GM

Your professional skills

  • Marketing degree level.
  • Post-graduate, Masters, and/or equivalent professional marketing qualification.
  • A dual minded approach with creative, copy, proofing and editing skills combined with being process driven and understanding scale.
  • Analytical with the ability to use data to report on outcomes and make informed decisions.
  • Proficient using dynamic CRM content management and automation systems.
  • Working knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft and other marketing software platforms and digital tools.

Experience in managing multiple projects.

The posted range for this position is between CAD $100,000 - CAD $115,000 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient and experienced in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, training, current skills, certifications & education etc.
