Marketing Manager, Hillcrest Mall
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Brand Experience, you will be part of a team of inspired marketers and brand-builders that collaborate and execute on industry-leading initiatives. As a key member of the property management team, you will lead marketing and communications for Hillcrest Mall.
As the Marketing Manager for Hillcrest Mall, you will be responsible for designing and executing shopping centre marketing efforts that delivers a distinctive experience that exceeds our customers’ expectations. You will demonstrate measurable results that will ultimately contribute to the achievement of the property’s business objectives while upholding the integrity of the shopping centre’s brand.

Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

Co-create and execute the annual marketing plan in collaboration with the Senior Manager, Brand Experience
Execute the brand voice and creative concepts in all internal and external communication, ensuring all customer-facing touchpoints deliver a holistic and integrated brand experience
Develop marketing initiatives that are relevant to shoppers and drive traffic, dwell time, retail sales and market share
Execute luxury marketing brand strategy designed to heighten awareness of brands and new-store openings
Collaboration with Specialty Leasing team to promote temporary tenants and activations
Develop a social & digital media content calendar that supports the property’s brand objectives
Develop and maintain regular communication with retailers to support business objectives and centre sales targets
Ensure the customer journey delivers on the centre’s brand promise both online and in-centre
Develop, manage, and track the annual marketing budget and analytics in collaboration with the Senior Manager, Brand Experience

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU HAVE:

5+ years of marketing and/or communications experience
Bachelor’s degree in marketing (advertising/public relations), communications or other relevant education and experience
Ability to identify new opportunities to generate new & relevant customer experiences
Creative thinker with well-developed business acumen and ability to see the bigger picture
Understanding of social media & content trends that will drive audience engagement & growth
A customer-first mindset, excellent at building & maintaining relationships
Aptitude to embrace change and welcome new approaches in an exceedingly evolving, fast-paced environment
Resourceful, analytical and an effective problem-solver
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficiency with budgeting and event management
Excellent time and project management skills with strong attention to detail and well-organized
Collaborative team player, highly motivated, with a positive attitude
