This role sits within our Insolvency, Forensic & Restructuring (IF&R) marketing team, with oversight of activity within the Restructuring, Pensions & Debt Advisory (RPDA) team, who are a national team, supporting lenders, investors and management teams to navigate challenging situations.
The Marketing Manager will create, develop and implement GTM strategies in alignment with the broader Insolvency, Forensic & Restructuring (IF&R) marketing strategy and in collaboration with the Business Development (BD) team’s go-to-market priorities. The Manager will also have the opportunity to collaborate across the Firm and with the central enablement teams (content, digital, social, design), for support in delivering on the strategy. Stakeholder management around strategy and planning processes is key to ensure ongoing engagement from all sub-service lines.

A look into the role

As a Marketing Manager within our IF&R team, you will:

  • Work with the Senior Marketing Manager to create, develop and deliver on IF&R-wide marketing initiatives and projects
  • Have oversight of the marketing activity required by the RPDA/FS team, developing a strong understanding of the team’s various offerings and be able to articulate them simply and effectively.
  • Collaborate with both junior marketing team members and senior stakeholders to effectively develop and implement the marketing plans in order to support them in meeting their objectives tailored to specific intermediary and corporate target audiences.
  • Work with the wider IF&R team to ensure plans and activity are aligned and we go to market as “one IF&R”
  • Work with business development colleagues to ensure propositions are effectively taken to market and that they have the marketing support they need to deliver on targets
  • Work with marketing operations colleagues including the digital team and content team to provide the business with a multi-channel marketing approach, including website, social media, ecomms, events, webinars, collateral and more.
  • Be a champion of marketing best practice, ensuring the best advice and outcomes for our stakeholders
  • Work with the IF&R marketing lead to monitor marketing expenditure in line with the budget
  • Demonstrate commercial benefits from activities by monitoring and measuring the impact of all external and internal marketing activity

Knowing you’re right for us

Joining us as a Marketing Manager, the minimum criteria you’ll need is a proven track record in marketing within professional services, to be a confident communicator, and have strong stakeholder management and project management skills. It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way.

  • you’ll have a demonstrable background in campaign management, producing quality and consistent messages across all channels, and managing marketing campaigns from inception through to follow up/reporting on ROI
  • you’ll have experience working with suppliers and third parties
  • you’ll be educated to degree level, or equivalent and ideally hold a CIM diploma, or equivalent
