POSITION SUMMARY

The Marketing Manager, IV Drugs reports to the Director, Marketing – Pharma in the Marketing department.
The Marketing Manager, IV Drugs is responsible for developing, implementing, managing and measuring marketing programs and tactics to optimize market penetration for assigned products and markets. The Marketing Manager, IV Drugs develops and implements marketing and communication strategies that are aligned with key business objectives which contribute to the growth of the Company. Additionally, the Marketing Manager, IV Drugs maintains relationships with key retail accounts and banners with the support of management by conducting business reviews and providing service when necessary

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Undergraduate degree (marketing focus preferred)
  • Three to five years of related experience in a pharmaceutical environment

  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft® Office, PowerPoint and Outlook

Responsibilities:

  • Leads and coaches department employees to meet the Company’s expectations for productivity and quality
  • Ensures that all required training in Kabi LIFT Learning Management System, for employees in the department, is completed on time
  • Identifies and champions new areas of opportunity for the Company in terms of new product/business development
  • Participates and manages relevant activities related to bringing new products to market and actively participates in cross functional project teams
  • Recommends, develops and implements annual marketing plans that generate revenue and growth
  • Reviews market changes/developments/advancements that pose opportunities or threats to the business and brings forth recommendations/solutions
  • Creates, monitors and updates all product related material/content for global website, sales/marketing communications, customer communications, etc.
  • Liaises with global headquarters to ensure all promotional materials are consistent with global messaging and are aligned with global strategy
  • Establishes, administrates, revises and is accountable for the marketing/promotional budget
  • Constantly evaluates competitors’ strengths and weaknesses in order to recommend promotional strategies which would increase the market penetration of the Company products
  • Monitors the results of new product launches and initiates any corrective actions where necessary to achieve defined sales and bottom line objectives
  • Supports and liaises with field sales staff and management to monitor product sales for market planning and implementation
  • Represents the Company at trade shows, scientific conferences and customer sites as required
  • Delivers support to customers for assigned products/services
  • Manages reconciliation and payment of all fees paid to retail partners including marketing fees, program and listing fees as well as rebates where allowed
  • Maintains relationships with key retail accounts and banners with the support of management by conducting business reviews and providing service when necessary
  • Acts as the Social Media Manager for the Company’s main website, including daily monitoring and associated Vigilance activities
  • Internally there is interaction with staff and management of all local and regional internal departments including but not limited to: Finance, Human Resources, Supply Chain Management, Customer Service, Sales, Marketing and Quality and Vigilance as applicable
  • Externally there is interaction with retail stores, key accounts, retail banners, third party sales organization, product consultants, creative agency, booth/tradeshow production agency, translation agency and research agencies
  • Ensures timely communication of complaints to the Quality department and Adverse Drug Reactions to the Vigilance department as per Standard Operating Procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned
