MARKETING MANAGER (MATERNITY COVER)

We’re looking for a strategic Marketing Manager to join our team on a maternity cover contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on leading from the front while also rolling up their sleeves and getting stuck into the work.
With our current growth trajectory, there is potential for this role to develop into a permanent position, offering long-term opportunities within our dynamic team.
In this role, you’ll oversee marketing strategy, manage budgets, and lead our team across multiple client accounts. You’ll have experience in brand development, storytelling, and copywriting and ideally expertise in the Manufacturing for Construction sector. You will lead on customer engagement communication from the creation of customer journeys and client campaigns through to ideas that differentiate the brand.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re seeking a candidate with:

  • Ability to lead on both brand and performance and growth marketing strategies.
  • Strong commercial acumen enabling you with the ability for seeing the bigger picture and connecting ideas to drive strategic planning.
  • A professional qualification in marketing or communications.
  • Proven experience in brand growth and managing creative production processes.
  • Preferably, a background in the Manufacturing for Construction industry, either in-house or within an agency.
  • Outstanding communication skills, proactivity, and a results-driven mindset.
  • Excellent time management skills to balance multiple projects.
  • Strong team collaboration skills to foster relationships between clients and our internal team.
  • A creative storyteller with an eye for design.
  • Ability to communicate and influence marketing strategies across the wider business.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead on the strategic marketing for all clients.
  • Plan and schedule the launch of new brands and new products to sector specific markets.
  • Manage marketing budgets and report on progress, results, and learnings.
  • Lead the marketing team and ensure a high quality of work across all marketing media.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to uncover insights and create innovative strategies.
  • Regularly share updates on strategies, results, and industry trends with the wider team.
  • Understand and maintain clients’ brand identities, values, and guidelines across all creative outputs.
  • Develop creative marketing strategies and compelling brand stories to achieve client objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor for tailored marketing solutions.
  • Oversee project timelines to ensure deliverables are met, with clear communication and realistic expectations.
  • Monitor and evaluate the success of marketing initiatives, making adjustments as needed to optimise performance.
  • Act as the key link between clients’ in-house marketing teams and Ripple’s design team to ensure smooth collaboration.
  • Lead marketing strategies across a variety of areas, including eCommerce, CRM, SEO, paid social, paid search, CX, and content.
    This is a role for someone who brings strategic vision, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for crafting standout brands.
