Department overview:
Forming part of the Trade Marketing team, within the wider Marketing, PR and Communications Team, the Trade Marketing function is responsible for creating and implementing marketing strategies to drive the success of EU retail (lifestyle and outlet), concession and wholesale stores. The team works in collaboration with the wider organization to ensure an integrated and customer focused approach across all trade marketing activations. This role will support wholesale and concession specifically, reporting directly to the Director for Marketing and Events.

You have outstanding communication skills, can effectively work with and influence colleagues as well as internal and external partners. Someone who thrives in a rapidly changing environment, bringing fresh thinking to the planning and implementation of marketing campaigns. You are a highly organized, keen-learner and self-motivated, able to work well to deadlines and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead wholesale and concession marketing; strategic planning, implementation, budget allocation and management
  • Collaborate with the cross-functional teams in the development of marketing initiatives
  • Partner with the line manager to support in influencing wider EU strategy and initiatives in wholesale and concession marketing
  • Manage a Marketing Coordinator to execute marketing activations against annual and seasonal plans
  • Identify and present new strategic opportunities that meet Michael Kors business objectives for wholesale and concession
  • Management of wholesale and concession cross functional projects in partnership with marketing peers
  • Manage the wholesale marketing budget and report on ROI
  • Act as proxy for line manager where necessary
  • Support across the wider department function when required

You’ll Need to Have:

  • Marketing experience preferably in the luxury sector, and possibly within wholesale
  • Proven success in planning and delivering campaigns
  • Creative project management experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PPT
  • Proactive and insightful analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Commercially minded with good business acumen
  • Thrive in a fast paced on-time deliverable environment
  • Excellent communication skills
