WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Northern is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead our internal and external marketing initiatives, with a strong emphasis on field and partner marketing. This role will prioritize building strong relationships through the successful planning, execution, and management of marketing events, including industry events, webinars, workshops, and co-branded partner activations.
Additionally, the Marketing Manager will oversee the development and execution of always-on marketing campaigns designed to drive brand awareness, generate inbound leads, and strengthen connections with clients, partners, and prospects. Success in this role will be measured by the impact and effectiveness of events, the performance of marketing initiatives, and the efficient management of budgets

Within Ontario* While this role can be remote/hybrid, preference will be given to those who can work from our London ON office on a monthly basis at minimum for collaboration and planning sessions.
KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of marketing experience, with a strong focus on field/partner marketing, event management, and campaign execution.
- Proven track record of managing and executing successful marketing events.
- In-depth knowledge of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, paid advertising, and email marketing.
- Exceptional project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated success in managing budgets, analyzing performance metrics, and delivering actionable insights.
BONUS SKILLS
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and marketing automation tools.
- Experience writing for B2B and enterprise audiences.
- Proficiency in graphic design or familiarity with design tools.

Responsibilities:
Field & Partner Marketing
- Plan, organize, and execute field and partner marketing events, such as industry events, webinars, workshops, speaker panels, and co-branded initiatives.
- Manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue booking, setup, takedown, signage, swag, and meal planning.
- Collaborate with partners to create joint content, co-marketing campaigns, and field activations that strengthen relationships and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Act as the primary marketing point of contact for partners, ensuring alignment and consistency across co-marketing efforts.
Marketing Campaign Management
- Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive inbound leads using strategies like paid advertising, social media, SEO, email marketing, and content development.
- Develop, write, and edit engaging content for a variety of channels, including website landing pages, blogs, advertisements, email campaigns, and press releases.
- Maintain Northern’s brand standards across all marketing materials to ensure consistency and alignment with our voice and image.
- Analyze campaign performance metrics to optimize marketing efforts and ensure measurable results.
Collaboration & Strategy
- Partner with leadership, including the VP Revenue, SVP Strategy, and Alliance Manager, to align on marketing goals and maintain an updated marketing calendar.
- Collaborate with internal teams (design, digital marketing, and development) to execute campaigns and marketing initiatives effectively.
- Work with the sales team to ensure marketing efforts support lead nurturing strategies and revenue goals.
Budget & Performance Management
- Plan, execute, and oversee budgets for marketing campaigns, ensuring expenditures maximize impact.
- Use analytics tools to track and report on marketing performance, identifying areas for improvement and adjusting strategies accordingly.
- Develop and refine processes for data-driven decision-making in marketing initiatives.
